We had a unique 3-day experience at the ALL NEPAL HACKATHON- NSU TECHFEST 2023 at Pulchowk Campus on Falgun 16,17,18 2023 but unfortunately, we couldn’t grab the Prizes. However, we still gained valuable insights and experiences that will help us in future competitions.
The main reason I think by which we couldn’t win is:
This is the reality of Life, You don’t have to win every time amidst your best effort and performance. Just Learn and Move onward whether you win or lose.
As the saying goes, ‘You never Lose, you either Win or you Learn’. It’s important to maintain the same level of energy and positive attitude, whether you win or lose. Life is full of ups and downs, and it’s how we respond to these challenges that define us.
Though I didn’t win, I learned many new things from this Hackathon!
Lessons Learned:
- Every experience of your life teaches you many life lessons, so be open to the opportunities in front of you especially if you are still exploring and haven’t found the purpose of your life.
- Sometimes hackathons can also be biased so make sure to see who is organizing the event before being part of it.
- While working in Team, strictly do proper planning and make checklists from your First Hour of the Hackathon so that you know what you are doing and whether are you working on your basic MVP or you are going to make your dream ideal project.
- Life throws you to amazing brilliant, kind people so make sure to start the conversation at such networking opportunities your early vibe and synchronization during conversations can make you feel as if you can continue the conversation or drop it
- As Steve Jobs told in His 2005 Stanford Commencement Speech, STAY HUNGRY STAY FOOLISH. This means always striving for more, being willing to take risks, and never settling for mediocrity.
Thus to conclude, Keep Participating in Hackathons and Keep Gaining Experiences!
